POOL HOUSE NEAR THE BEACH
This pool house, built in 2023, is located in a quiet neighborhood, only 3 km from the best beaches of the Netherlands.
There is a double (kingsize) bed on the loft and a separate bathroom. The patio doors reveal a beautiful view on the pool and terrace.
A spacious 8,5 x 4 meters swimmimg pool is there to cool you down on a hot summers day.
Ample space to park next to the tiny house.
There is a kitchen with appliances. Also at your disposal is a large (gas fired) barbeque.
The Pool House
Whether you stay on a camping crowded with screaming children, or in a more private setting, listening to the birds and cooling down in our pool is entirely your choice.

Due to the construction with good isolation, the temperatures are nice and cool even in summer.
The pool house and terrace are strictly non-smoking!

The Beaches
The beaches around Burgh-Haamstede are among the most beautiful and quiet in the Netherlands. On the way to the beach you pass the wide dunes, with valleys, sand drifts and dune meadows. The beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag in 2022 (and many times before). This guarantees clean beaches and good bathing water.

The province of Zeeland has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.

Closest to our house is Het Verklikkerstrand, a real natural beach, where seals are regularly spotted. The nesting area of the Kentish plover is also actively protected here.
Prefer something a little more busy? Then the beach at the Vuurtorenpad is where you want to be.
The beaches are regularly patrolled by lifeguards from the Rescue Brigade.
Schouwen Duiveland
Schouwen-Duiveland is inextricably linked to the sea. The island is surrounded by the North Sea, National Park Oosterschelde and the Grevelingen. Remnants of creeks and floods have become attractive natural areas. The south coast of Schouwen is part of the largest national park in the Netherlands: Oosterschelde National Park. A unique and dynamic nature reserve. That also makes this area a true bird paradise.

Not only can you enjoy dunes, dikes, salt marshes and polders here: there are also beautiful forests to be found. The beautiful nature makes the Kop van Schouwen the ideal location for walking or cycling.
Things to do
Schouwen-Duiveland has beautiful nature. Whether it's the beaches, the nature reserves, Boswachterij Westerschouwen, walkers and cyclists will not soon get bored.

The Kop van Schouwen is also the ideal place for water sports enthusiasts. Sailing, surfing, kite surfing, it's all possible.
​
For those who like it a bit busier, there is bustling Renesse or historic Zierikzee. You will not easily get bored on Schouwen-Duiveland.
