In addition, we have both always had a fascination for Africa. All corners of Africa have their great attractions, but our first love goes to south eastern Africa with its large grazers and their predators. Recently the opportunity arose to obtain a piece of bushland. Our dream villa is just finished. It is located on a beautiful estate just outside Hoedspruit. The estate is part of a 5600 Ha nature conservancy, where we can hold our own safaris with our own game viewer.

We try to treat our planet in a responsible way and lead a sustainable life and to exhaust it as little as possible. That's why we don't eat meat and Paula doesn't use any animal products anymore (Rolf is doing his best but still needs some time). Although we do our best, we are also aware that flying back and forth between the Netherlands and South Africa is not in line with our way of life. On the other hand, tourism and the associated money flow are of great importance for the protection of wildlife and nature. Moreover, where tourists with a camera stand around rhinos, there are no armed poachers.
